Background:
Launched in October in response to the nation's deteriorating economy, the Foundation Center's Focus on the Economic Crisis page provides nonprofits and foundations with resources designed to help them deal with challenges stemming from the global financial crisis and recession.

Outstanding Web Features:
Focus on the Economic Crisis offers several interactive maps on topics such as U.S. foundation giving in response to the downturn, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding resources, and local funding information centers. Visitors can also subscribe to RSS and Twitter feeds related to the economic downturn, chat online with a Foundation Center librarian, or browse relevant Foundation Center research advisories, news stories, blog posts, interviews and podcasts, and other resources.
