Kauffman eVenturing

Kauffman eVenturing

Mission: To serve as a central hub for growth-oriented entrepreneurs, connecting them to the resources, networks, and support they need to start, take to scale, and exit high-impact enterprises.

Background:
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation launched the eVenturing Web site in November 2005 to provide entrepreneurs with practical guidance and tools, including original articles written by entrepreneurs and content related to starting and running high-impact companies. Foundation staffers work with "entrepreneur editors" to manage the eVenturing site and its editorial direction.

Outstanding Web Features:
Content in eVenturing is organized into six topics — finance and accounting, people/HR, sales and marketing, products and services, operations, and the entrepreneur — with corresponding subtopics. New content is presented in collections of entrepreneurs' stories, how-to articles, tools and templates, and Kauffman points of view (written by foundation staff), all focused on a single topic. The Web site also contains a blog for entrepreneurs, a glossary, and free subscriptions to daily feeds of new content.
