Tools and Resources for Assessing Social Impact (TRASI)
Mission:
To provide foundations and nonprofit organizations with information on more than a hundred and fifty proven approaches to measuring the impact of social investments.
Background:
TRASI, a project of the Foundation Center, was developed in partnership with McKinsey & Company and experts in the field to address the growing interest in measuring the impact of social investments. The assessment approaches included in the database were authored by a range of social investors, including foundations, NGOs, and microfinance institutions.
Outstanding Web Features:
Visitors can browse or search the TRASI database for information on more than one hundred and fifty tools, methods, and best practices for creating and conducting social impact assessments. The application also provides links to related research reports, articles, and books as well as multimedia features, including podcasts and video.
