Background:
Trend Tracker is a free search tool available through the Foundation Center's Web site. Trend Tracker is part of the Fact Finder suite of tools, which provides quick access to information on foundations and other nonprofits and includes Foundation Finder and 990 Finder.

Outstanding Web Features:
Trend Tracker allows users to create charts and graphs detailing information on the nation's top 20,000 foundations. Users can review an individual grantmaker's fiscal data, compare up to five foundations, and create easy-to-read charts, line graphs, and tables displaying historical assets, gifts received, expenditures, or giving information. Trend Tracker currently covers the years 2000 to 2005. Subsequent years will be added as data becomes available.
