Adobe, a California-based software company, and the Adobe Foundation have announced an additional $5 million investment in the Adobe Film & TV Fund as well as $1 million in support of Los Angeles creative communities impacted by recent wildfires.

Launched a year ago with a $6 million commitment, the fund assists underrepresented creators and filmmakers, providing support for research and products to help creatives advance their careers through fellowships, funding, and in-kind donations. Group Effort Initiative will also offer mentorship, training, and career programs through the fund. In addition, to help support Los Angeles creative communities impacted by recent wildfires, the Adobe Foundation has awarded grants totaling $1 million to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund and Entertainment Community Fund.

“We’re passionate about empowering filmmakers to tell their stories and realize their creative vision,” said Adobe Creative Cloud senior vice president and general manager Ashley Still. “These innovations will bring time savings and career support so they can focus on inspiring and captivating audiences worldwide.”
