Aspen Valley Hospital Receives Naming Gift for Specialty Care Center
Aspen Valley Hospital and its foundation have announced a gift for an undisclosed amount to establish the Renée and Lester Crown Center for Specialty Care.
The gift from the children, nieces, and nephews of Renee and Lester Crown was made as part of a $60 million capital campaign to complete a modernization and expansion of the hospital in the Colorado resort town. The new center will include patient services in areas such as cardiology, pain management, urology, pulmonology, neurology, and gastroenterology. As the community's needs evolve, more specialties will be added.
"Having a hospital standing at the ready twenty-four/seven, three hundred and sixty-five days a year, requires a collective community investment and the commitment to make the hospital and quality health care a philanthropic priority," said Archer Bishop, chair of the Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation board of directors. "We could not be more grateful to the Crowns for their support of our hospital and for setting an example for others to follow."
