StriveTogether in Cincinnati has announced a $175 million commitment from Ballmer Group in support of the organization’s Vision 2030, with a goal to put at least four million additional young people on a path to economic mobility.

StriveTogether will regrant $130 million to help strengthen local and state infrastructure and improve cradle-to-career outcomes by scaling efforts to develop economic mobility for children and families across the United States, especially in communities where systemic inequities continue to create barriers. StriveTogether’s 2030 vision is driven by a $280 million strategic plan that will focus on strengthening and expanding the network of place-based partnerships nationwide, addressing policy systems changes, and building and training practitioners using data and cross-sector partnerships.

“This is frankly a game-changing investment for us, allowing more local leaders to access the resources and support needed to address economic mobility in their communities,” said StriveTogether president and CEO Jennifer Blatz. “Our new strategic plan supports this and holds us accountable to helping at least four million more kids and families by 2030. We believe every child should have every opportunity to reach their full potential, and we will hold ourselves accountable to ensuring systemic barriers are removed.”
