The British Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) has announced that its 15 member charities have raised more than £400 million (over $432 million) to date in support of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

According to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), DEC is the largest nongovernmental donor to its funding appeal for the humanitarian response in Ukraine. The UK government matched £25 million of public donations to DEC, its largest ever commitment through UK Aid Match, the Evening Standard reports.

“Throughout each phase of the crisis, and each new challenge that’s arisen, DEC charities and their local partners have been there to help people get through this,” DEC chief executive Saleh Saeed told the Evening Standard, “and that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the UK public, businesses, governments, and other organizations that have made this appeal such a success.”
