Jack Kent Cooke Foundation announces 2021 Graduate Scholarships

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation in Lansdowne, Virginia, has announced the recipients of its 2021 Cooke Graduate Scholarships and Cooke International Award.

Eighty-seven students will receive scholarships of up to $150,000 for up to four years of study, with five of those selected to receive the Cooke International Award, which grants funding of up to $85,000 per year for up to four years of study at the University of Oxford’s Lincoln College or Brasenose College or the University of Cambridge’s Clare College. Scholars will pursue degrees in health care, biological sciences, business, and law, among other fields. The Cooke Graduate Scholarship and Cooke International Award are only available to previous recipients of the Cooke College Scholarship and the Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

“With the skyrocketing cost of graduate school and the limited financial aid in many programs, we were pleased to double our scholarship award to $150,000,” said Cooke Foundation executive director Seppy Basili. “Our hope is to minimize the student loan debt that our scholars have to incur to pursue their degrees.”
