The University of Louisville (UofL) has announced a $3 million grant from the Jewish Heritage Fund (JHF), to support the university’s science and biomedical research infrastructure.

The funding will bolster UofL’s core lab facilities, providing researchers campus-wide with access to advanced equipment and skilled personnel to help accelerate discovery and innovation focused on the development of new diagnostics, treatments, and medical breakthroughs. The latest gift boosts JHF’s total giving to more than $40 million in the past decade.

“UofL is a hub for cutting-edge research, and these labs are the backbone of that work,” said UofL president Kim Schatzel. “JHF’s continued partnership…will help grow these critical facilities and empower researchers to push the boundaries of knowledge and deliver high-impact results that benefit everyone.”
