Mercy Health Clermont Hospital receives $1 million

Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital in Cincinnati has announced a gift of nearly $1.2 million from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous in support of efforts to enhance how patients and their families experience care at the hospital.

The largest gift ever to Clermont Hospital — which was a result of the donor's strong relationship with Dr. Param Hariharan, who has cared for the donor's family for many years — will be used to replace furniture in fifty-two patient rooms, including sofas, recliners, laptop tables, bedside cabinets, and overbed tables and enable the hospital to purchase sixty-two Hercules Patient Repositioners — automated repositioning devices installed on hospital beds. In addition, with a match from Mercy Health, the gift will fund the renovation of the Wound Care Center.

"This donor is grateful for the care they and their family have received at Clermont Hospital and feels blessed to be able to 'pay it forward' to help care for others," said Tricia Mullins, senior gift officer for the Mercy Health Foundation – Cincinnati. "We are excited about the work we’ll we’ll be able to accomplish to enhance the experience of everyone who provides or receives care in our hospital. And it’s all because of this generous gift."
