NonProfit Times releases 26th annual Power and Influence list
The NonProfit Times has released its 26th annual Power and Influence Top 50 list.
Selected from a group of roughly 300 executives by a committee of NPT editorial staff, contributors, and nonprofit executives, this year’s recipients include more than one-third (36 percent) who have not previously been honored, and for the second consecutive year, women outnumber men on the list (30 to 20, respectively).
First-time honorees include Angelique Albert, CEO of Native Forward Scholars Fund; Susan Taylor Batten, president and CEO of ABFE; Don Chen, president of Surdna Foundation; Jim Clark, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Cecilia A. Conrad, CEO of Lever For Change; Abigail Dillen, president of Earthjustice; Sarah Kate Ellis, president and CEO of GLAAD; Brian Flahaven, vice president, strategic partnerships of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education; Jesús Gerena, CEO of UpTogether; Patricia E. Harris, CEO of Bloomberg Philanthropies; Kenneth Hodder, national commissioner of the Salvation Army; Brian Hooks, chairman and CEO of Stand Together and the Charles Koch Foundation; Stephanie J. Hull; president and CEO of Girls Inc.; Alison Moore, CEO of Comic Relief US; Susanna Pollack, president of Games For Change; Marietta Rodriguez, president and CEO of NeighborWork America; Rusty Stahl, founder, president, and CEO of Fund the People; Fay Twersky, president and director of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; Victoria Vrana, CEO of GlobalGiving; and Tycely Williams, chief development officer of the Bipartisan Policy Center.
Those returning to the list after an absence of at least a year are YMCA of the USA executive vice president Neal Denton, Echoing Green president Cheryl Dorsey, and Interfaith America founder and president Eboo Patel.
