Otto Bremer Trust Awards $9.1 Million in Grants
The Otto Bremer Trust in St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced grants totaling $9.1 million in support of a hundred and forty-one organizations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and western Wisconsin.
The awards include grants to the Lower Sioux Indian Community in Morton, Minnesota, which will receive $220,000 in support of an expansion of its community center and efforts to promote physical activity, healthy eating, cultural arts, and intergenerational gathering; the Southside Family Nurturing Center in Minneapolis, which was awarded $60,000 in support of trauma-informed therapeutic early childhood education and family assistance programming; and Bolton Refuge House in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which will receive $150,000 to expand its transitional housing services to those who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault.
"OBT made strategic investments in a variety of organizations across the region, each committed to addressing challenges and opportunities in their communities," said Otto Bremer Trust trustee and co-CEO Brian Lipschultz.
