The Doris Duke Foundation in New York City has announced the selection of ASHLEY FERRO-MURRAY as director of its arts program. Ferro-Murray previously served as the senior curator of theater and dance as the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center.
The GHR Foundation in Minneapolis has announced the selection of TENZIN TSETEN as program associate for the local domain at GHR. Tseten previously served as a grant manager for the Wisconsin Fast Forward program, managing workforce development grants through the grant cycle.
Airbnb.org has announced the appointment of CATHERINE POWELL and RICH SERINO to its board of directors. Powell is the global head of hosting at Airbnb and previously served as president of Disney Parks Western Region with the Walt Disney Company. Serino is a distinguished visiting fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and former deputy administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Alliance for Positive Change in New York City has announced the election of DAVID BERGER to its board of directors. Berger is CEO of the Brooklyn-based University Hospital at Downstate.

For the past eight years, she has held positions of increasing responsibility at the Folger Shakespeare Library, where she played a central role in expanding its resources.

The Jed Foundation (JED) in New York City has announced the retirement of PHILLIP SATOW as board chair and the appointment of MICHAEL SATOW, an active JED board member, as chair. Phillip Satow and his wife, Donna, co-founded the nonprofit to honor their late son, Jed, who died by suicide in 1998 while in college.
The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) has announced the promotion of LARRY A. GRIFFITH to executive vice president for programs and student services. Griffith, who previously served as senior vice president for UNCF programs and student services, will continue to be responsible for innovation, program development, strategic management, evaluation, and staff leadership and development for UNCF’s almost 400 scholarships, programs, internships, and fellowships.
PND also notes the passing of philanthropist DOROTHY TAPPER GOLDMAN at 78. Goldman famously sold her original printed copy of the U.S. Constitution, which her husband had bought in 1988 for $165,000, to Citadel CEO Ken Griffin for a record-setting $43.2 million. Goldman used the proceeds to establish the Dorothy Tapper Goldman Foundation.
