Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Announces 2014-15 Health Policy Fellows

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey, has announced the 2014-15 cohort of RWJF Health Policy Fellows.

Each participant in the annual program, which provides midcareer health professionals with opportunities to participate in policy issues at the federal level, will spend a year in Washington, D.C., working on an assignment in either a congressional office or the executive branch while participating in health policy leadership development activities and media training. Upon completion of the program, fellows will return to their full-time positions and put their leadership skills into practice.

This year’s RWJF Health Policy Fellows are Karen Armitage (University of New Mexico), Lemuel Dent (Meharry Medical College), Marian Grant (University of Maryland), Kimberlyn Leary (Harvard Medical School), Colleen Ann Leners (U.S. Navy), Karen Matthews (Defense Health Agency), and Anh T. Nguyen (U.S. Food and Drug Administration).

"We are delighted to have such talented individuals from across the health professions selected to participate in what is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious fellowship opportunities in Washington, D.C.," said RWJF vice president for policy David Colby.
