Salt Lake City’s Ballpark NEXT Fund receives $22 million pledge
The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation has announced a $22 million pledge to Salt Lake City’s Ballpark NEXT fund.
The fund is a $100 million fundraising initiative to invest in the Ballpark neighborhood. In January 2023, the Larry H. Miller Company announced a new, privately funded ballpark for the Salt Lake Bees minor league baseball team in downtown Daybreak in South Jordan, Utah. Ballpark NEXT was launched to reimagine and revitalize the Ballpark Neighborhood.
“The Miller family and the Larry H. Miller Company have a deep history with and confidence in Salt Lake City and are committed to Ballpark NEXT and the bright future of our capital city,” said Miller Family Foundation executive director Don Stirling. “We invite all to join us in the exciting and energizing Ballpark NEXT project to help raise $100 million to support human-centered, place-based development and enrichment in the area.”
