St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has announced a ten-year commitment from Kay Jewelers to raise $50 million in support of the Kay Research and Care Center on St. Jude’s Memphis campus.

In addition to supporting research, education, care, and treatment for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, the new center houses the state-of-the-art Eric Trump Foundation Surgery and ICU Center, for which the Eric Trump Foundation pledged $20 million earlier this year; the Marlo Thomas Center for Global Education and Collaboration, which serves as a hub for learning and collaboration; and the St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center, which claims to be the world’s first proton therapy center dedicated solely to the treatment of children.

In addition to those gifts, the center received individual gifts of $1 million or more from the Jerry N. and Virginia S. Williams Estate; InfinityQS International, Inc.; Holly, Doug, Taylor, and Kyle Brooks; Michele and Bill Nuti; the Peter & Mary Russo Family Foundation; the Randi and Clifford Lane Foundation; and a donation made in memory of Dominick M. Amorosi, and Sky High.
