Build a Stronger America
Mission:
To unite entrepreneurs and give them a voice in public discussions about the country's economic future.
Background:
A project of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Build a Stronger America is an "entrepreneurial community" that provides a forum for discussion around policies and initiatives affecting entrepreneurs. Launched in late September at the Inc. 500 conference in Washington, D.C., the site is designed to help provide a unified voice for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Outstanding Web Features:
Through the Build a Stronger America Web site, entrepreneurs and business owners can share their stories by uploading a sixty-second video that describes how they created new jobs; learn more about issues affecting entrepreneurs and business owners; and contribute their own ideas. In addition, visitors to the site can watch videos uploaded by others, download a Kauffman report (16 pages, PDF) on the state of entrepreneurship In America, and subscribe to e-updates.
