Mission:
To provide reliable information to adults experiencing the life stage that lies somewhere between young adulthood and "old-old" adulthood.
Background:
A project of the Public Broadcasting Service, Next Avenue is an online platform that provides resources and tools to adults over the age of 50 who are planning for the next phase of their lives. The site is designed to help users as they navigate the physical, health, work, and financial shifts that accompany this stage. Support for the Next Avenue site is provided by the Atlantic Philanthropies, Medtronic, and the Helen Bader, General Mills, Land O'Lakes, and Mardagfoundations, while content is provided by both in-house contributors and content media partners, including American Public Television, the National Educational Telecommunications Association, and Huff/Post50.
