Cedarville University, a Baptist-affiliated institution in Cedarville, Ohio, has announced a $12 million gift from an anonymous donor.

The gift will support a fundraising campaign aimed at expanding on-campus capacity, strengthening the student experience, increasing the number of scholarships available to students, and ensuring the university's sustainability into the future. A master plan developed by the school calls for construction of a 282-bed residence hall, a new dining facility, and a civil engineering center housing the department's offices, classrooms, and labs.

"We are deeply grateful for a generous donor who not only believes in Cedarville's mission of transforming lives through excellent education and intentional discipleship, but also embraces the bold vision laid out in our ten-year campus master plan," said Cedarville University president Thomas White. "This investment demonstrates a trust and confidence in Cedarville's future. We commit to steward these resources well as we provide new facilities and programs that will expand opportunities to equip graduates for gospel impact."
