					Arizona
The Arizona Community Foundation has elected Bettina Nava to its board of directors. Nava is a Partner at Nexus Strategy Group, a communications firm with expertise in public affairs and strategic planning, and previously served as state director for Senator John McCain.
California
The Inland Empire Community Foundation in Riverside has announced $4.5 million bequest from the estate of Jane Lykken Hoff, who passed away last year at the age of 103. Her legacy of charitable giving will continue through the Jane Lykken Hoff Endowment at the foundation, which will provide funding in perpetuity to four organizations Hoff regularly supported: College of the Desert Foundation, Palm Springs Historical Society, Palm Springs Public Library Foundation, and PBS SoCal.
Colorado
The Community Foundation Boulder County has announced the 2024 grant recipients of its BRAVO, Open Door, and Veterans funds. Selected by community volunteers, the 22 grantees will receive a combined total of $68,000 to assist Boulder County’s Latino, LGBTQ+ and Veteran communities. Recipients include Lyons Pride, Cultivate, Queer Asterisk, and Veterans Community Project.
Louisiana
Woodside Energy has announced it will invest $650,000 in Louisiana through the end of 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the region and its communities. The investment will fund five community grant programs and enable initiatives that support a broad range of needs across communities in the greater Bayou area, including environmental preservation, coastal protection, education, workforce development and capacity building. Among the nonprofit partners is the Houma-based Bayou Community Foundation.
New Jersey
The Princeton Area Community Foundation has announced that its Fund for Women and Girls has awarded more than $200,000 in grants to six nonprofits working to help single mothers, families with young children, abuse survivors and high school students. Recipients include Arm in Arm, PEI Kids, HomeWorks Trenton, and Dress for Success Central New Jersey.
South Carolina
The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry (CFL) has announced that Coastal Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit committed to preserving and developing affordable workforce housing in Beaufort and Jasper counties, has acquired 23 housing units in unincorporated Beaufort County, near Bluffton. The acquisitions have received community support, including a $1 million pledge from the community foundation and a $1 million donation from Novant Health. In addition, CFL has helped convene area nonprofits, organizations, businesses, and donors committed to creating more affordable workforce housing. On November 12, the foundation will host the second Lowcountry Affordable Housing Forum at Technical College of the Lowcountry’s Culinary Institute of the South in Bluffton.
Wisconsin
The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation has announced the summer grants totaling more than $79,000 from its Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay.
