Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Awards $14.5 Million to Regional Arts Groups

Cleveland-based Cuyahoga Arts & Culture has announced grants totaling nearly $14.6 million to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in Cuyahoga County.

Awarded through CAC's General Operating Support and Project Support programs, the 2017 grants will support hundreds of arts and cultural organizations and projects across Cuyahoga County. They include $12.6 million in general operating support grants to fifty-seven organizations based in and serving the county. CAC also awarded $1.9 million in grants to a hundred and eighty-four organizations through its Project Support program, which assists nonprofit organizations working to brings arts and culture to residents of the county.

In addition, through a partnership with Neighborhood Connections, a grassroots community-building program affiliated with the Cleveland Foundation, CAC will support twenty-six grassroots arts and culture projects in 2017 led by residents of Cleveland and East Cleveland.
