Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation awards more than $5 million in grants

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced grants totaling more than $5 million in support of organizations across the state, including those working to build an equitable New Jersey.

The foundation provided multiyear funding to several partner organizations, representing a collaborative strategy of providing the space, time, and opportunity for each organization to strengthen and build their capacity and encourage new voices and funding partners. Jersey Water Works, Gathering Ground, and Sustainable Jersey will each receive $1 million over three years in general operating support. Multiyear grants also were awarded to Arts Ed New Jersey, Young Audiences NJ and Eastern PA, Foundation for Education Administration, and Dance New Jersey in support of longstanding statewide arts education programs and projects. In addition, 10 grants will bolster organizations focused on supporting justice and equity, and a $75,000 grant was awarded to the New Jersey Abortion Access Fund in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade

“The Dodge Foundation is committed to shifting power and resources to communities most excluded from investment and opportunity. We are an organization in transformation, and we are deeply grateful to all our nonprofit partners for leading and learning alongside us,” said Tanuja Dehne, president and CEO of the Dodge Foundation.
