Irish billionaire J.P. McManus is awarding €32 million ($34.5 million) to sports associations supporting Gaelic sports in Ireland, with €1 million ($1.09 million) awarded to every county board in the country, Extra.Ie reports.

McManus, an avid supporter of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), made a similar donation in 2018, investing €100,000 ($109,111) in every county GAA board in Ireland. Awarded through the JP McManus Charitable Foundation, the latest gift will be evenly divided between GAA, Camogie Association, and Ladies Gaelic Football Association clubs.

“His support of the GAA at many levels is well documented,” said the GAA in a statement, “and our units will once again rejoice in the generosity of the McManus family and use the funds to assist in their hugely important work at the heart of communities.”
