Jack Kent Cooke Foundation announces 2023 College scholars
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation (JKCF) in Lansdowne, Virginia, has announced the 60 recipients of its 2023 Cooke College scholarships, which are awarded to high-achieving high school seniors.
Each scholar will receive up to $55,000 annually to cover the costs of their undergraduate education, as well as ongoing academic coaching and advising, graduate school and career advising, and access to a network of Cooke Scholar community peers. In addition, the students will receive opportunities for internships, study abroad, and access to graduate school funding.
This year, students applied for the Cooke College Scholarship from all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Northern Mariana and Virgin islands. The scholars join the 45 Cooke Young Scholars selected earlier in March to form the 2023 cohort of 105 Cooke College Scholars.
“This year’s College Scholarship applicants are full of potential and determination,” said JKCF executive director Seppy Basili. “We congratulate them and look forward to seeing how the next steps in their educational journeys unfold.”
