The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at the Miami Foundation has announced the grantees of the third cohort of the Pérez CreARTE grants program.

A total of $5 million will be distributed to 39 cultural organizations across Miami-Dade County to help cultivate a more vibrant, connected, and stimulating arts ecosystem. Over the next two years, grants of up to $300,000 will enable 20 existing CreARTE partners working in the areas of arts access, education, and fellowships and residencies to build upon their efforts while 19 new grantees develop their programs. Recipients include Armour Dance Theatre, Art Prevails Project, Area Stage Company, The Motivational Edge, the Writers Room @ The Betsy, and Women Photographers International Archive.

“The CreARTE program was born of our family’s desire to expand the transformative power of South Florida’s arts community,” said Pérez Family Foundation founder Jorge M. Pérez. “Over the past four years, we have remained dedicated in our mission to help identify and support organizations that add to Miami-Dade County’s unique, vibrant cultural landscape. Every year, we are blown away by the talent and vision of our applicants. We look forward to following their professional achievements and contributions to our region in the years ahead.”
