Jupiter Medical Center Foundation in Jupiter, Florida, has announced a $25 million gift from Johnny and Terry Gray in support of a new surgical institute slated to open in 2023.

The Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute, which is under construction, will be a 90,000-square-foot facility featuring 16 “smart” operating rooms that use digitally integrated equipment so surgeons have improved access to patient information and two hybrid operating suites. In addition, the institute will house a 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art surgical equipment sterilization center, a large reception area for caregivers and families, and private consultation rooms.

“A donation of this magnitude will impact health care in the region for generations to come,” said Jupiter Medical Center president and CEO Amit Rastogi. “We remain incredibly grateful to Johnny and Terry for their support of our mission to increase access to world-class health care.”

“We have been very fortunate, and it is a joy to share that success with others,” said Johnny and Terry Gray in a joint statement. “Jupiter Medical Center has cemented itself as a leader in quality world-class health care. We are confident they will remain innovative and at the forefront of cutting-edge medicine. We are honored to be part of their evolution to meet the growing demands of our community.”
