Miller family commits $5 million for capital projects at Boise State
Boise State University in Idaho has announced a $5 million commitment from the family of Bob and Sharon Miller in support of capital improvements to the school’s sports complex.
The funding will be used for the North End Zone project, a plan to redevelop the general admissions area at Albertsons Stadium, home of the Boise State Broncos football team. In addition, funds will be directed to future capital improvements to the school’s basketball arena.
The commitment is part of a larger $40 million expansion of the university’s sports facilities and the creation of an “athletics village.” Members of the Miller family have previously given more than $6 million to Boise State.
“A donation of this magnitude will make a generational impact,” said Boise State University director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey. “[T]he Miller family’s commitment ensures we are moving in the right direction to create a nationally competitive athletics program that serves our student-athletes and our community.”
