Morehead-Cain Foundation Announces Class of 2021
The Morehead-Cain Foundation in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, has announced the 2021 class of Morehead-Cain Scholars.
The oldest merit scholarship program in the United States covers all expenses for four years of undergraduate study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and offers a four-year summer enrichment program that includes an outdoor leadership course, public service activities in the U.S. or abroad, research opportunities, and business internships. During the academic year, Moorehead-Cain scholars receive support from the Morehead-Cain Discovery Fund, enabling them to more deeply explore a particular interest.
Selected on the basis of merit and accomplishment, the 2021 class of Morehead-Cain Scholars numbers sixty-six, including thirty-seven students from North Carolina, twenty-nine from fifteen other states, three from Canada, and one each from the United Kingdom, Albania, and Singapore.
