The California Wellness Foundation has announced the selection of ALEX JOHNSON as vice president of public affairs, and VERONICA CARRIZALES as managing director of programs. Johnson, who previously served as a senior leader at the foundation, most recently spent four years as vice president at Bryson Gillette, a strategic communications and public affairs firm. Carrizales spent the past 15 years with California Calls, an alliance focused on community organizing and coalition-building.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in Stanford, California, has announced the selection of BROOKE STAFFORD-BRIZARD as vice president for innovation and impact. Stafford-Brizard previously served as vice president for research to practice at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
