The Flinn Foundation in Phoenix has announced that DAVID GULLEN is stepping down as chair of its board of directors after 21 years. He will remain a board member through March 2024 before retiring. ERIC REIMAN has been elected as board chair. Reiman, who joined the board in 1999, has served as secretary since 2008.
The Lumina Foundation in Indianapolis has announced the election of ALISA MILLER as chair of its board of directors. Miller, who joined the board in 2015, succeeds KATHY DAVIS. Miller is co-founder and CEO of Pluralytics AI and previously served as executive chair and CEO of Public Radio International and orchestrated its 2018 merger with Public Radio Exchange.
The American Academy of Arts & Sciences in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has announced the election of GOODWIN LIU as chair of its board of directors. An associate justice on the Supreme Court of California, Liu was elected a member of the academy in 2019.
Brooklyn Communities Collaborative has announced the appointment of TORIAN EASTERLING to its board of directors. Easterling is currently the senior vice president of population and community health and the chief strategic and innovation officer for One Brooklyn Health.

Arrillaga is a faculty fellow and professor of practice in philanthropy and education policy at the University of Texas and is founder of Student Success Solutions.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda, Maryland, has announced the selection of KATHRYN BROWN as chief communications and marketing officer. Brown previously served as chief of communications at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Greenpeace USA has announced the selection of EBONY TWILLEY MARTIN as executive director. She is the first Black woman executive director for a national legacy environmental organization. Twilley Martin previously served as Greenpeace USA’s chief officer of people and culture and was later named chief operating officer in 2018.
