The Christensen Fund has announced the election of TERRI HENRY and VINCENT LOGAN to its board. Henry, a citizen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, is director of the Tribal Employment Rights Office for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Logan, a citizen of the Osage Nation, serves as the Native American Agriculture Fund's chief financial officer and chief investment officer; he previously served as the special trustee for American Indians at the U.S. Department of the Interior under the Obama administration.

The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation, a supporting foundation of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, has announced the inaugural members of its board: BETSEY ANDREWS PARKER, CEO of the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County; JENNIFER GULLISON, vice president of operations at Cornerstone VNA; BRIAN HUGHES, president and CEO of Holy Rosary Credit Union; SANDRA JALBERT, philanthropist and volunteer; FRANK JONES, attorney at Wensley & Jones, P.L.L.C.; RAUDE RAYCHEL, founder and president of the Indonesian Community Connect; and EMMETT SOLDATI, owner of Teatotaller Café. The board will hold its first meeting this fall.

The Ann Bancroft Foundation in St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced the appointment of ETHELIND KABA as its new executive director. Kaba brings nearly two decades of experience raising awareness of urgent social issues to mobilize support and drive action, including serving as vice president of external affairs for the Center for Economic Inclusion, where she oversaw strategic marketing campaigns, communications, development, and influence strategies. She also serves as secretary of the board of the Jeremiah Program, which is dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income single mothers and their children.

Chicago Cares, the city's volunteer service organization, has announced the appointment of ELLEN RAY as its new CEO, effective November 1. Ray currently serves as chief strategy and solutions officer at Chicago Cares, where she has spent three years implementing a new community investment strategy, seeding new program models, and launching a Capacity Building and Advisory Services division. She will succeed JENNÉ MYERS, who is moving on to a position in the private sector after eight years.

The Local Initiatives Support Corporation has announced the appointment of CHRISTINA TRAVERS as its new chief financial officer. An expert in community development finance, Travers is returning to LISC after serving as CFO of Working Solutions, a nonprofit CDFI focused on microlending in the San Francisco Bay Area. She previously spent more than a decade at LISC helping pioneer impact investing efforts as treasurer and senior vice president of capital strategies, including spearheading the market's first-ever CDFI public bond offering in 2017, which raised $100 million for LISC and laid the groundwork for CDFI bond issuance by other organizations. Travers is expected to start November 1, succeeding MICHAEL HEARNE, who is retiring after seven years in the position.

The MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) Foundation in Chicago has announced the appointment of JOHN F. NICHOLS as president, succeeding BRIAN P. WALSH. A disability benefits consultant who in 1999 founded the Disability Resource Group, Inc., a national insurance agency for which he currently serves as president, Nichols has been an active donor to the foundation since 2004 and a volunteer since 2009.

New American Leaders and the New American Leaders Action Fund, which work to advance an inclusive democracy "by preparing first- and second-generation Americans to run, win, and lead," have announced the appointment of GHIDA DAGHER as president. Dagher has been an active member of the New American Leaders network since 2015, as a training participant and then as a trainer and coach. She most recently served as director of appointments for Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The New York City Ballet has announced the election of DIANA L. TAYLOR as board chair, the New York Times reports. A former superintendent of banking for the State of New York and a managing director for a private equity firm, Taylor also is the partner of former New York City mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. She succeeds CHARLES W. SCHARF, who told the Times that Taylor was a "formidable business leader" and the "ideal person to drive and guide the company forward into a thriving future."

The Urban Resource Institute, a provider of domestic violence shelter services and homeless shelter services in New York City, has announced the appointment of TIMI LEWIS as vice president of marketing and communications. Lewis is founder and principal of Lewis Media Company, LLC, where she helped develop and implement communications strategies for small businesses and nonprofits in the education, health care, and arts sectors. She previously served as director of communications for the Governance Lab, a data research center, and as vice president of marketing and communications for Housing Partnership Network, an affordable housing business collaborative.
