Roundhouse Foundation awards nearly $1.7 million to rural communities

The Roundhouse Foundation in Sisters, Oregon, has announced grants totaling nearly $1.7 million in support of 106 organizations in rural and Indigenous communities across the state.

Grants will support a variety of programs focused on areas such as arts and culture, education, environmental stewardship, and social service efforts. Recipients include Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, Civics Learning Project, Applegate Valley Rural Fire District, and In Our Backyard.

“We are honored to support these kinds of projects that build strength and resilience in rural, remote and Tribal communities,” said Roundhouse Foundation executive director and trustee Erin Borla.
