Net Impact
Mission:
To mobilize a new generation to use their careers to drive transformational change in the workplace and around the globe.
Background:
Created in 1993, Net Impactis a community of changemakers who believe a new generation of leaders is critical to tackling the world's most pressing social and environmental problems. The organization connects students and professionals and helps them build careers that make a positive impact — to collectively create a "net impact" that benefits not just the bottom line but also people and the planet. Volunteer-led chapters at business schools, on college campuses, and in cities around the globe bring members together to learn about the latest trends in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and social entrepreneurship; share ideas and provide career insights; and develop and nurture leadership skills.
