Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation announces fourth-quarter grants
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced its fourth-quarter grants.
The awards include support for projects focused on power building and economic resilience: the Racial Justice Alignment Group of Black, Indigenous, and Brown leaders ($1.1 million over two years), and the Paterson “One Square Mile” initiative at Montclair State University. The foundation also awarded grants to 27 other organizations working toward an equitable state. Through its Imagine a New Way grantmaking program, the foundation provided nine additional grants to partners leading organizations and initiatives that strategically build power, dismantle systems of injustice, and strengthen economic resilience.
“We are proud to have allocated a third of our overall funding to root cause and repair-centered work across New Jersey,” the foundation said in an unattributed statement. “As we look to 2023, we are eager to further strengthen and grow our work focused on justice and equity.”
