The Cleveland-based KeyBank and KeyBank Foundation have announced grants in 2023 totaling more than $6 million to 12 nonprofits in northeast Ohio.

The grants will bolster workforce development, education, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region where the bank’s operations are centered. Recipient organizations include: Youth Opportunities Unlimited, TECH CORPS, Fund For Our Economic Future, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Cleveland Institute of Music, Studio in a School Association, Friends of Breakthrough Schools, Say Yes Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, and Cleveland Metroparks. The grants also include $2.5 million awarded in September in support of CHN Housing Partners and LISC Cleveland as part of a home repair collaboration with the City of Cleveland.

“Some of the most important work we do happens…in our communities,” said KeyBank Cleveland market president Kelly Lamirand. “We believe these investments will not only make our communities stronger, but more vibrant and stable [and] help Cleveland thrive.”
