The Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) in St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced grants and program-related investments (PRIs) totaling more than $12.6 million in support of organizations across Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Grant recipients include the Salvation Army, Northern Division in Roseville, Minnesota ($500,000), which delivers emergency social services in Minnesota and North Dakota; Poverello Center in Missoula, Montana ($65,000), which offers shelter, food, clothing, and wrap-around services to people facing homelessness; and Center Against Sexual & Domestic Abuse in Superior, Wisconsin ($35,000), which provides legal services to low-income community members victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
In addition, the trust awarded a PRI of $2.5 million to St. David’s Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota, so it can purchase a building to be used as an early intervention center in downtown Minneapolis.
“Many organizations in our region are doing important work and meeting the critical needs of their communities,” said OBT co-chief executive Daniel Reardon. “We are honored to continue to carry out Otto Bremer’s mission by supporting these worthy causes.”
