The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in Stanford, California, has announced the appointment of DOUG SHULMAN to its board of trustees. Shulman is currently CEO of OneMain Financial.
The David and Lucille Packard Foundation in Los Altos, California, has announced that JASON BURNETT has been named chair of the board of trustees; he has served on the board since 2008 and is currently CEO of Crosswalk Labs. The foundation also announced the appointment of KELLY BORN as the inaugural director of its Democracy, Rights, and Governance initiative. Most recently, she served as the director of the Cyber Initiative at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
The Duke Endowment in Charlotte, North Carolina, has announced the promotion of STACY WARREN to associate director of its health care program area. Warren served as a program officer before moving into her current role.
The Heising-Simons Foundation in Los Altos, California, has announced the selection of SUSHMA RAMAN as its new president and CEO. Raman is currently executive director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. She will start her new role in late February.
The Kenneth Rainin Foundation in Oakland, California, has announced the departure of arts program officer ADRIANA GRIÑÓ ; she joined the foundation as program assistant in 2014. The foundation also announced the promotion of DANA CILONO to director of education strategy and ventures, effective this month. Cilono joined the foundation in early 2022 as education program officer.
The Denmark-based LEGO Foundation has announced the appointment of board member SIDSEL MARIE KRISTENSEN as its new CEO, in which position she will focus on setting a future strategic direction for the foundation. With her appointment as CEO, Sidsel will step down as board member and AGNETE KIRK KRISTIANSEN will return to the board.
The Otto Bremer Trust in St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced the hiring of TANNER BLAIR as a financial analyst. Blair was most recently an accounting analyst with Essentia Health. He will support the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of the foundation.
The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation in St. Paul has announced the selection of KEVEN AMBRUS as chief financial officer, effective February 13. Ambrus previously served as chief financial officer and chief operations officer at the Metropolitan Economic Development Association.

Collins will steward organizations that address systemic issues facing the nation and help them build lasting, durable power by securing independent revenue sources.
The NewSchools Venture Fund in Oakland, California, has announced the appointment of FRANCES MESSANO as its new CEO. Messano was appointed as successor to outgoing chief executive STACEY CHILDRESS, who stepped down after an eight-year tenure. Messano will be the first woman of color to lead the organization.
Westchester Jewish Community Services has announced the appointment of DEAN HOWELL to its board of directors. Howell currently serves as managing director at Deloitte.
