					The Arcus Foundation in New York City has announced the promotion of KELSEY ANDERSEN to director of grantmaking effectiveness. Andersen joined the foundation in 2022 as manager of grants and information systems.
Arnold Ventures in Washington, D.C., has announced the selection of HANA GREENBERG as vice president of advocacy and public finance. Greenberg previously served as director of government affairs for the Target Corporation.
The Duke Endowment in Charlotte, North Carolina, has announced the selection of SHAHEEN TOWLES as director of communications. Towles previously served for more than 10 years as the first director of communications of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.
The John A. Hartford Foundation in New York City has announced the addition of LESLIE J. PELTON as a program director. Pelton previously served as vice president at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
The American Academy of Family Physicians in Leawood, Kansas, has announced the election of five new members to its board of trustees: OLUSUNMISOLA OYESIKU, SARAH SAMS, MELISSA STEPHENS, CEZARY WOJCIK, and ANDREA AUGUSTINE. Oyesiku is a senior public health physician at the Alabama Department of Public Health. Sams is associate director and full-time faculty member at Grant Family Medicine Residency. Stephens is assistant dean of clinical medicine and professor of family medicine at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Wojcik is the global medical director for Amgen. And Augustine is a medical student on the primary care leadership track at Duke University School of Medicine. In addition. the academy also elected new officers: JAY-SHEREE ALLEN AKAMBASE, RENEE MARKOVICH, ANDREA GAVIN, and JUSTIN BARTOS. Akambase, who will serve as board president, is a preventive medicine fellow in the division of public health, infectious diseases, and occupational medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Markovich, president-elect of the board [OR to conform use “who will serve as president-elect], is the clinical associate director of the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Family Medicine Residency Program. Gavin, who will serve as vice president, is a member of the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians board and foundation. And Bartos, who will serve as treasurer, is the administrative physician of North Hills Family Medicine.
The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., has announced that DEBORAH F. RUTTER will step down as president. Rutter served as president for more than 10 years, and under her leadership, the Kennedy Center has grown its operating budget to $268 million. In her first year, Rutter broke ground on a new arts facility and first-ever campus expansion.
The Marshall Project in New York City has announced the selection of KATRICE HARDY as CEO. Hardy currently serves as executive editor and vice president of the Dallas Morning News. She previously served as Midwest regional editor for USA Today Network.
The Opportunity Finance Network in Washington, D.C., has announced the election of new leadership on its board of directors. AISHA BENSON, president and CEO of Nonprofit Finance Fund was elected board chair.
