The Apollo in New York City has announced the election of four new members to its board of directors: ANDRÉ BRANCH, MICHELLE GADSDEN-WILLIAMS, AARON HOLIDAY, and CARLOS WHITAKER. Branch is the senior vice president and general manager of M·A·C Cosmetics, North America at the Estée Lauder Companies. Gadsden-Williams is managing director and global head of diversity, equity, and inclusion at BlackRock. Holiday is a co-founder and managing partner at 645 Ventures. And Whitaker is senior managing director at Blackstone.

Sawaya is president and CEO of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. And Laborde is host and producer of WYES’s Steppin’ Out.
Project HOPE in Washington, D.C., has announced the appointment of UCHE RALPH-OPARA as chief health officer. Ralph-Opara started with Project HOPE in January 2021 as the country director for Nigeria and senior advisor for health systems strengthening for a USAID-funded program.
