The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York City has announced the election of four new board members: RYAN N. DENNIS, chief curator and artistic director of the Mississippi Museum of Art’s Center for Art and Public Exchange; GUADALUPE MARAVILLA, a transdisciplinary artist, choreographer, and healer; SARAH CONLEY ODENKIRK, a partner with Cowan, DeBates, Abrahams & Sheppard, LLP; and PAULA VOLENT, vice president and chief investment officer at the Rockefeller University.
The Bezos Earth Fund has announced the appointment of PAUL BODNAR as director of sustainable finance, industry, and diplomacy and NOËL BAKHTIAN as director of tech acceleration. Bodnar previously served as BlackRock’s global head of sustainable investing and head of sustainability policy. Bakhtian joins the fund from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she was the inaugural executive director of the Berkeley Lab Energy Storage Center.
Borealis Philanthropy in Minneapolis has announced the selection of KELSEY TREJO as program associate of its Spark Justice Fund. Trejo previously served as a court navigator for the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office.
The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law has announced the selection of KAREEM CRAYTON as senior director for voting and representation. Crayton previously served as a consultant to public officials and organizations in the South on voting rights and redistricting matters.
The California Wellness Foundation has announced the selection of RICHARD TATE as president and CEO. Tate previously served as vice president of communications and marketing at Hopelab—a health-focused nonprofit organization affiliated with the Omidyar Group—and as a director of communications at Chiron, a global biotechnology company.
The Homeless Prenatal Program in San Francisco has announced the selection of SHELLENA ESKRIDGE as executive director. Eskridge recently was named interim executive director after serving as deputy director.
The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation in Andover, Massachusetts, has announced the appointment of five new members to its board of directors: Carolyn Armitage, president of Thrivent Advisor Network; STEPHANIE DRESCHER, partner and chief client and product development officer at Apollo Global Management; BRETT GOODMAN, executive vice president of corporate development, treasury, and investor relations at LPL Financial; SEAN KEENAN, managing director and head of business development for wealth solutions at BNY Mellon Pershing; and KIRSTEN PICKENS, managing director and co-head of U.S. distribution at FS Investments.
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has announced the appointment of GAMYNNE GUILLOTTE as the Leanne and George Roberts Chief Education and Community Engagement Officer. Guillotte was previously chief education officer at the Baltimore Museum of Art, where she was responsible for the strategy and realization of interpretive projects, educational resources, public programs, and community engagement.
The UMRC (United Methodist Retirement Communities)-Porter Hills Foundation has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. SALLY ANDREATTA, the senior vice president of program and marketing for Replay Toys, previously served as executive director of the Newaygo County Community Collaborative. MELODY PIERCE JOHNSON recently retired after serving as the senior chaplain and director of pastoral care for Porter Hills retirement communities for 21 years.
The Woodward Hines Education Foundation in Jackson, Mississippi, has announced the selection of YOLANDA HOUSTON as director of the Mississippi Consortium for Higher Education in Prison. Houston previously worked with Holmes Community College as an instructional facilitator in adult basic education.
