The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation in Wilsonville, Oregon, has announced the promotion of TYLER HOBBS to president. Hobbs, who joined the foundation in 2020, previously served as director of foundation operations. In his new role, Hobbs will be responsible for strategic oversight and ongoing organizational leadership.
The McKnight Foundation in Minneapolis has announced the appointment of CEDRICK BAKER as chief of staff. As a strategic advisor to the foundation’s president, TONYA ALLEN, Baker will help provide leadership and align enterprise-level work to advance its mission.
DAVID R. MCGHEE will leave the Skillman Foundation for the Schultz Family Foundation, the Michigan Chronicle reports. McGhee has served as vice president of organizational excellence and impact at the Skillman Foundation since 2019, working to advance equitable educational and economic opportunities for children. In his new role as chief strategy and program officer at the Schultz Family Foundation, McGhee will work to create greater opportunity that is accessible to all.
CalMatters publisher and chief operating officer MARCIA PARKER is leaving the organization to join the New York Times as vice president, philanthropic partnerships. Established in 2019, the philanthropic partnerships team helps develop newsroom initiatives funded by foundations and in partnership with nonprofits. Parker spent more than five years with CalMatters.
The Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS) has announced the appointment of early childhood education expert ANNIE PAPERO as the director of CHS Hershey, the school’s first Early Childhood Resource Center.
