The new role was created to develop and implement effective advocacy campaigns focused on lowering healthcare costs while maintaining and enhancing access to needed, high-quality care.
The Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts in New York City has announced the promotion of KEN SHATZKES to program director. Shatzkes has more than 15 years of experience performing biomedical research in academic, government, and nonprofit settings.
M&T Bank has announced the appointment of DOMINIQUE GOSS to the new role of executive director of the M&T Charitable Foundation, where she will work to direct its corporate giving strategy and ensure the foundation’s community impact remains inclusive, equitable, and diverse across its 12-state footprint. To that end, Goss will oversee management for the daily operations of the M&T Charitable Foundation, including strategic direction, program development, operations, financial management, talent development, and community relations.
Equal Justice Works, a D.C.-based nonprofit focused on public interest law, has announced the appointment of VERNA WILLIAMS as its CEO. Williams most recently served as dean of the University of Cincinnati College of Law and has decades of experience both practicing and teaching law, specializing in constitutional law, critical race theory, race and the law, family law, and feminist legal theory.
Grounds For Sculpture, a nonprofit arts organization in Hamilton, New Jersey, has announced the election of four new members to its board of trustees. MICHELLE J. BAJWA, CATALDO DORIA, and UMESH GAUR joined the board in December 2021, and NICK PAHADE joined in June 2022.
