The Boston-based Barr Foundation has announced several personnel changes on its education team as well as the arts and creativity team. JOHN TRAVIS will join the education team as senior program officer; PATRICK TUTWILER will join the education team on the Catalyze New Models strategy team in a newly created senior program officer position; and director of education LEAH HAMILTON is leaving the foundation for a new leadership role as vice president of philanthropy for Barr’s affiliated family office, Pilot House Associates. JENNY CURTIN has assumed leadership of the education program as acting director, effective July 1. Two new program officers, JAMILAH BRADSHAW and FRANCISCO TORRES, will join the arts and creativity team in mid-July.
The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in Miami has appointed two new vice presidents. ALEJANDRO DE ONÍS, Knight’s director for digital strategy and design, will serve as vice president for communications and digital strategy. ROSHELL R. RINKINS, Knight’s senior director for grants administration, has been appointed to the role of vice president for grants administration and chief diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) officer.
The Surdna Foundation has announced that KATAYOON MAJD will serve as Andrus Family Fund’s interim director, succeeding NYOKA ACEVEDO.
Firelight Media in New York has announced LETICIA PEGUERO as its new senior vice president. Peguero worked most recently as an executive coach and organizational consultant and, prior to that, she served as vice president of programs at the Nathan Cummings Foundation, where she developed programmatic strategies responsive to the complex nature of social change.

Joining the board are CHRISTINE COLLEY KING, executive managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle, THOMAS L. MELTON, executive vice president at Pritchard Industries, Inc., and DUSTY PHILIP, co-chair of global mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art has announced that DANIEL WEISS will step down as president and CEO in June 2023. Weiss was recruited to lead the Met in 2015 after serving as a college president, university dean, and professor of art history.
The Nonprofit Finance Fund has announced AISHA BENSON as its next CEO and president, effective August 8. She will be NFF’s third permanent CEO and president in its 42-year history and will be based in New York. She joins NFF from TruFund Financial Services, where she served as executive vice president and COO.
Davidson College in North Carolina has announced that college president CAROL QUILLEN has been appointed a trustee of Princeton University, effective July 1. Quillen leaves office at Davidson at the end of July after 11 years as president.
