The eBay Foundation in San Jose, California, has announced the appointment of DEREK ALLGOOD and LORENA MARTINEZ to its board of directors. Allgood serves as vice president of global customer experience at eBay and co-founded GCX4Good. Martinez is the head of operations for eBay’s core product team.
The Otto Bremer Trust in St. Paul, Minnesota, has announced the retirement of CHARLOTTE S. JOHNSON as co-trustee after 33 years of service. Over her tenure, she helped the trust distribute more than $1 billion to charitable organizations advancing critical priorities, including poverty reduction, racial injustice, and economic equity.
The Patterson Family Foundation CEO and president KEVIN PRINE will step down from the position after being hired a year ago, the Kansas City Business Journal reports. The foundation has not released a reason for Prine’s departure, but a replacement search has begun. Prine previously led Outreach International for more than a decade.
The Louisiana Bar Foundation in New Orleans has announced the promotion of LAURA CANGELOSI SEWELL to CEO. Sewell began her tenure with the foundation as development director in 2005 and transitioned to associate executive director in 2020. She subsequently advanced to chief operations officer/associate executive director.
The Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg, South Africa, has announced the selection of MBONGISENI BUTHELEZI as chief executive. Buthelezi has led the Public Affairs Research Institute (PARI) over the last six years.
The Student Press Law Center in Washington, D.C., has announced the appointment of MIRA LOWE to its board of directors. Lowe is dean of the school of journalism and graphic communication at Florida A&M University.
